Every residential quote we give is all inclusive, which is a phrase worth spelling out because it is used loosely in this trade. Yours covers the design conversation, the rendering, the commercial grade LED lights themselves, the clips and timers, the installation, every service call for the rest of the season, the takedown in January, and storage of the lights until next year. There is no second invoice and no line item that appears later.
The lights are not yours to buy, store or replace. That is deliberate. When we own the materials we are the ones on the hook when a strand fails, which is the only arrangement under which a 36 hour* service promise means anything.
Retail lighting comes in fixed lengths. Houses do not. We measure the roofline, the ridgelines, the peaks and dormers, the columns, the trees and the landscaping, then cut commercial grade LED runs to those measurements. The result is a line of light that follows the architecture instead of stopping short of a corner or doubling back on itself.
These are the three we are asked for most, and they are nowhere near the only combinations we build. Warm white reads classic and elegant and suits older architecture. Multicolor is the popular choice in houses with young children. A candy cane theme in white and red, or white, red and green, sits between the two. If you have a combination in your head that is not on this list, ask, because we can build almost any of them. Whatever you choose, you see it on a rendering of your own house before anything is ordered or hung.
Book 4 to 6 weeks ahead of the date you want to be lit. October is when the calendar fills and November is when it closes. If you are reading this later than that, call anyway, because we would rather tell you honestly what is left than let you find out on a website.
We do not hang lights you already own, we do not offer labor only installation, and we do not sell our lighting as a product for you to install yourself. That is not a policy invented to upsell you. It is the only way the service promise holds together, and the reasoning is set out in full on why we only install professional grade lights.
